Blog 29 – The Work

You do not become the observing witness in a day, week or year. The process of observing develops over time; it requires commitment and work. Self-discovery and self-mastery lead you to this enlightened state of being. As a witness, you observe without judgments and remain non-attached to outcomes.

You become aligned with truth by eliminating the emotional and mental patterns that limit you. As you face your deficits, take action to rectify them and open your heart to grace, you become a channel of unlimited potential. You become realigned with the love, power, peace and wisdom of the Self.

When you are up against a stubborn pattern, you may feel as though you are having a break down. The obstacle feels insurmountable. When you cannot go any further on your own, you are on the verge of a break through. This part of the process is emotionally painful and draining. But, if you persist and trust the power of grace, you soon discover you are not alone. Grace enters and enables you to break free of an addictive pattern that blinds you to truth, causes you suffering and limits your success.

In those moments of accepting yourself, others and life unconditionally, grace may bring you an epiphany. This insight removes a blind spot and expands your awareness. Each time you face yourself or a situation with an attitude of total acceptance, you are free to perceive truth.

The work of transformation involves clearing distortions and barriers. As you align yourself with the Self, you are able to observe instead of judge; allow instead of control. The ego steps aside, and the Self to leads the way.
