At birth an infant's mind is a clean slate, filled with possibility and potential. The developing small child is curious and totally engaged in the present moment. Parents and society begin to program and control what is real and what is possible for this emerging conscious being. The child’s natural curiosity becomes restricted as s/he learns reality from fantasy. Parents and society dictate what to believe and what is possible in the real world.
The child’s curiosity is replaced with conformity. As the child adapts to the status quo for survival, s/he is socialized. The community benefits, but the curious mind of the child gets trapped in rigid, limiting patterns. If the adult can put aside rigid beliefs, s/he has found a way back to a state of childlike curiosity and openness. The adult has an opportunity to discern a new level of what is real and what is fantasy.
When you are a curious and aware adult, you are open to possibilities, wise with knowledge and life experience, and connected to Universal Intelligence:
Open to possibilities: You allow new information to break through your existing belief systems. You are able to brainstorm new possibilities and ideas as you search for creative solutions to existing challenges.
Wise with knowledge and life experience: You assess, analyze and synthesize information as a result of the wisdom that comes from life experience. You are more able to discriminate truth from illusion and make wise choices.
Connected to Universal Intelligence: You receive insights and creative ideas from an inner source of knowing that is much greater than your personal consciousness.
With an open mind you are able to ask curious questions and allow possibilities, knowledge and knowing to lead to outstanding results. The naiveté of the child is replaced with the discernment of the adult. Curious and aware, you discover truth and co-create wisely.
